Master plan report looks at future of Rt. 422 corridor

If you have thoughts about what the future of Route 422 should be, there is currently another opportunity to share those thoughts with people who may have something to do with helping that future come to pass.

It seems apparent to me, that for the last two decades, townships have thrived based upon development within their own confines, without regard for the future. In order for the townships to thrive they need their people working, earning an income, and paying taxes. The developments equalled short-term income, but to sustain themselves we (all) need a tax base.



The fact that development has not been coordinated among townships, regarding highway neccessities, is quite disappoint

US 422 Corridor Master Plan Summary Report

The US 422 Master Plan has been summarized into an "executive-style" report and is now available for public comment. At the project's conclusion, Barry Seymour, DVRPC's Executive Director, suggested that the reporting document be left "open" (i.e., Draft-Final) to accompany a campaign of municipal outreach meetings to take place in the corridor during the Spring
