CONGRESSMAN SESTAK SECURES $700,000 FOR US ROUTE 422 SCHUYLKILL RIVER CROSSING COMPLEX

King of Prussia, PA –GVF is pleased that Congressman Sestak was able to secure $700,000 for continued funding of the US Route 422 Schuylkill River Crossing Complex.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, in conjunction the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, the counties of Chester and Montgomery, as well as the adjacent municipalities, is developing two projects to remedy problems related to US 422 in the Schuylkill River crossing area.

US 422 Corridor Master Plan Summary Report

The US 422 Master Plan has been summarized into an "executive-style" report and is now available for public comment. At the project's conclusion, Barry Seymour, DVRPC's Executive Director, suggested that the reporting document be left "open" (i.e., Draft-Final) to accompany a campaign of municipal outreach meetings to take place in the corridor during the Spring
